The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with fridge/freezer, electric hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots & pans etc.
The lounge has smart TV with Netflix, Showmax, You Tube, DSTV Now. There is air-conditioning and 2 ceiling fans. The dining table lives outside under the thatched roof but can be moved inside if required.
The house is built in a U-shape around a pool deck with sun loungers and umbrellas. The swimming pool is not fenced so parents travelling with children must always ensure that they are accompanied. At the end of each bedroom wing there is a covered sitting area, one with a sofa and the other with a small table & chairs. Both areas look out onto the bush.
The estate is a quiet, peaceful habitat in which to relax and recharge your batteries! It is home to kudu, impala, duiker, nyala, zebra, giraffe, warthogs, civet, genet, porcupine, mongoose, bushbabies and numerous bird species. There are walking trails, cycling trails, horse trails and game drive trails. There are 2 dams with bird-hides. It is safe to walk around during the day but not at night as leopard, hyena and wild dog are seen on the estate from time to time.
There are no staff on duty whilst guests are in residence, unless travelling with one of our guides. The house is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure. If you would like to have a cleaner every day, please send a request in advance. The cost is R250 per day.
Catering at the house can also be arranged, as well as guided open vehicle safaris, day tours and airport transfers. Please ask for a quote
